SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS...SPOILERS
I don't mean to turn this into a Once Upon a Time blog but I
am so behind on all my shows Once Upon a Time is the only one I am regularly
keeping up with. Sorry.
Let's talk the Miller's Daughter...
There is so much to say that my brain can't make sense of
it.
Rose McGowan rocked the house. She brought it down!
The acting in this episode was amazing every single performer
brought their A game (with the exception
of Josh Dallas. I love Josh Dallas but Charming wasn't necessary this episode
so...)
I am itching to see more. I would go more detail but I am
going to make a separate post later because it is too much for this entry. It
needs its own. But look below and see where I stand on the issues.
Overall-
Things
I loved:
Nealfire and Henry steering the
pirate ship. LOVE!
Emma and Nealfire interactions. I am
loving their chemistry.
Rose McGowan. She owned it. Period
Giving Princess (Later Queen) Eva
some human spark. She was obnoxious to Cora. But everyone has good and bad
inside of them. Obviously she changed somewhere down the road which should count
for something.
Dark Snow. I dig. Everyone goes a
little mad sometimes, eh?
Emma being magical.
Cora/Rumple. Didn't see it coming
but...I enjoyed it. Not as much as I enjoy Rumple and Belle.
Speaking of Rumple and Belle. The
phone call. *Tear*
Rumple/Nealfire moment. It was
intense and emotional and sweet and yet...believable. Because he acknowledged
that he is still angry and you can see his confliction.
Regina giving her mother her heart
back.
Snow's realization. (Too little too
late though.)
Things
I didn’t love:
David felt useless in this episode.
Normally I love Charming but eh...?
I don't love Rumple's manipulation of
Snow but it led to Dark Snow which I enjoyed so...eh...?
My rating? 4.5 out of 5. I am not
sure what could have made me give this a 5 out of 5 because this episode is one
of my favorites of the series so far. If it is this good in March I, for one, can't
wait for May.
