Couldnt have said it better myself!

TVline article about the Project to fund a Veronica Mars movie!
I never watched Veronica Mars but now I am going to have to. When I heard they were doing this I thought it was bunk. But the funding came through...the fans have spoken and Veronica Mars lives again.

I agree with Matt Mitovich. No one should be slammed for taking the reigns and making things happen. I applaud the fans who stepped and went to bat for something they feel passionate about.

You go fans! Make things happen.

Now, lets talk about a Gilmore Girls movie shall we?

Hatfields and McCoys?

Now I have to watch this...

I actually wasn't planning on watching this but due to my girl crush on Sophia Bush I am left with little choice.

Jamie Dornan to Revisit Once Upon a Time!

Graham to return to OUAT?

I loved Graham but I think people need to it go. The hipster Sheriff isn't coming back.

Tell me you didnt see this coming?

90210 Cancelled

I am not a fan. I watched a few episodes of the first season but...I watch a lot of shows and this is one that lost my attention early on...I always intended to go back and watch just never foudn the time.

However due to ratings (600,000 viewers and 0.3 demo) this could not come as a surprise. I know there are people who will hate this and I am sorry for that.

Now on to the real question. How does this change the renewal game on The C.W. What does this do for bubble shows like Hart of Dixie, Beauty and the Beast, The Carrie Diaires and Nikita? I guess we will see?

August returns...

Once Upon a Recycled Plotline….

SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS…SPOILERS...SPOILERS

RECAP:  Cora and Hook arrive in Storeybrooke and trouble is brewing. Regina is accused of murder after a fight is witnessed between her and beloved member of the town. Not everyone believes she is guilty but the evidence keeps piling up against her.

I am torn on last Sunday’s Once Upon a Time’s return from holiday hiatus. “The Cricket Game” was not a bad episode but the whole framed for murder thing feels familiar…oh, wait! It is familiar that was half of season 1.

Once Upon a Time is without a doubt one of my favorite shows on television currently. And to be fair even its worst episode (which I don’t think this is) is better than other shows best episodes. I had just kind of hoped we were past this now and had moved onto something more original.

Overall-
Things I loved:

The coitus interuptus in the Charming house…the look on Emma’s face alone was just priceless.
Emma trying to be a mom…It’s cute seeing her bond with Henry.
Belle and Rumple one of the best cutest most interesting? relationships on television. Whatever, I like it.
Hook/Cora interactions
Hook/Regina interactions

Things I didn’t love:

The recycled plot line- It is reminiscent of Mary Margaret’s troubles in season 1.

My rating? 3 out of 5. Not the best. Not the worst.

Upgrades...

Ok, so here is the thing...I have been beyond lax but one of my resolutions is to really commit to this blog. I am hoping the visual changes I am going to make soon will help keep me motivated. My dear friend Nicole is helping me make these changes. Look for it soon.

In the mean time look for a Once Upon a Time blog in just a few minutes.

Addison's choice and other such things.

The first episode of Private Practices sixth season was good (not as good the show it spun off from, Greys Anatomy but…what can you do?). Let me say, I am a firm believer that this is PP’s last season (I refuse to call it PPP like other sites and blogs do because I don’t get where the third P comes from and until I do I am not doing it). Kate Walsh has said she is not returning and thought I love the other characters (especially Cooper and Charlotte) But I do not for a second believe the other characters can carry this show without Kate…just my opinion.

On to the current episode.

I liked the pacing of the episode. I liked how it shows what each person has gone through during the time away. The actors really brought it and I loved it ... Even Amy Brenneman and I am not a Violet Turner fan. I am disappointed by the loss Tim Daly but I can’t say I am not ready to stop dealing with Pete and Violet…just saying.

Overall-
Things I loved:
The fact that they waited so long to reveal Addison’s choice (usually when a main character is faced with a romantic choice they reveal it in the first few minutes of the show) It was nice to stretch it out and leave people wondering.
I love that Addison chose Jake; I was over Addison and Sam…period.
Cooper and Charlotte…three babies…hahahaha…That is just awesome!

Things I didn’t love:
I am indifferent to Sam’s new thing. I want him to be happy and I am over him and Addison but I just didn’t care much.
Pete’s death, I was hoping they would leave it open for him to return.

My rating? 3 out of 5, it was a little better than average. Let’s hope season 6 will go out with a bang.

In memory...

***Spoiler alert***
If you have not watched the first episode of season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy STOP HERE….warning you now.

Ok, so, I am a Grey’s fan from way back. As much as I have loved this show over the years I will be the first one to say that in my humble opinions Grey’s has lost it’s spark. I started feeling differently about Grey’s after season 3 (and no, that is not just because Addison left, although I am a HUGE Addison Montgomery fan.) It just didn’t feel the same. Now, I am a firm believer that every show that goes for more than 1 or 2 seasons has a point where it changes (for example Beverly Hills 90210, the original series, went through a change after a high school and then after college. Charmed changed after season 4. They felt like different shows almost). I allow for that change but Grey’s just felt weak. Season 6 was little better but 7 an 8 were slightly disappointing. Saying all that, I loved this premiere. It was emotional and yet still fun at times. I may actually be excited about Grey’s Anatomy again.

The actors brought their A game, especially Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek Shepherd aka McDreamy). The cast has always been good in opinion but this episode reminded me why I love them. The sad parts were really sad but the good news I was expecting most of them. Some stuff was news to me (Like Arizona…yikes). The preview for next week already has me nervous, I am sure it’s going to be just as good as this episode but it looks even more emotional than the first episode. I guess I should watch it with a box of tissues.

Overall-

Things I loved:
Cristina being Cristina. (The parts we saw of her at Mayo reminded me if the tough chick I fell in love with all of those years ago.
The Meredith/Cristina love …My favorite friendship on television.
The Meredith and Derek love…I enjoy seeing them happy after all the nonsense they deserve it, right?
Bailey and Ben (super cute and super happy…Because Bailey is made of awesome and deserves awesome things)
The Mark Sloan tribute, it was well done and super sweet.
The Callie/Arizona stuff (I was almost sure that  Shonda Rhimes had killed Arizona and I knew that would be a disaster). I am glad Arizona is alive and I am excited to see what they do with this. I am expecting some world class acting from Sara and Jessica.
Owen getting April Kepner (I won’t deny it was weird. But I liked it)
Jackson and Mark
Medusa…Right?
Booty call Bailey…what!?!?!
Derek, Callie and Mark
Alex  being a PIMP
Alex caring enough to stay at SGMW hospital.

Things I didn’t love:
The new interns…they bugged me…(but to be fair the Mercy West doctors bugged me once too and now Jackson and April are loved by me, so we shall see)
Cristina’s boss at Mayo…eeewww
That is about it..There were not a lot I disliked in this episode.

My rating? 4.5 stars out of 5…it was good but it takes a little more fantastic to get 5 out of 5…sorry.
Please be looking for a blog post to be made today about the negative attitude people seem  to have about Shonda Rhimes

Countdown to Goodbye...

***Spoiler Alert***
If you have not seen the first episode of season 5 of Fringe then please leave now…thanks…
Just watched Fringe’s first episode of their final season. It was spectacular, but I expect nothing less. I have been on pins and needles waiting for this episode. I was so glad we were getting a season 5, that the fans were given a few episodes to wrap up storylines we have dedicated our time to and that we would be allowed to say goodbye.
During the summer I heard that most (if not all) of season five would take place in 2036 (like the episode 4x19 letters of transit), I was glad to hear that because after that episode I became concerned that the future with the Observers Hostile takeover would never be explained or resolved.

I know that Walter will remember the plan September put in his head (at some point, I mean he has too, right The Observers can't win). I am on pins and needles waiting for the next episode.

Overall-

Things I loved:
Peter and Olivia’s reaction to their daughter and finding one another
How much the actress who plays Etta looks like Olivia.
Walter…enough said.

Things I didn’t love
Not enough Astrid and Walter love
The creepy guy Markham using Olivia as a coffee table

How would I rate this episode? 4 out f five stars. Why not five? I am not sure, I guess because I have seen better Fringe episodes. Though let me reiterate, I was not disappointed in this episode. I think we have an action packed season ahead of us…buckle up guys…

It's been a while.

This is just a quick post to apologize for my lengthy absence. But I am back now and I will be sharing my many opinions on this TV season. Welcome back guys.

A surprising TURN of events (Pun intended)

*****Spoiler Alert***** If you have not watched the finale of The Vampire Diairies then RUN AWAY!

So, I am behind on my tv blogging. I have so much I need to do and now that I have mortally injured myself (uggh) I have a little more time on my hands. So, let’s talk Vampire Diairies!
Season 3 has been my favorite season so far. There were quite a few twists that actually threw me off.

Like when Bonnie’s mother was turned into a Vampire and how much that affected both mother and daughter.  The problems it briefly created between Bonnie and Elena. Although I must admit Bonnie is not favorite character. I know she is beloved by fans but I find her to be a bit sanctimnonius. Not that I love the title character Elena either ( she bugs me sometimes).  I actualy prefer Caroline, she is tough and funny and really sweet. She’s not afraid to make mistakes and knows how to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Plus , she and Tyler are adorable beyond words.

Evil Stefan is more likable to me than good Stefan! Just saying…He was snarky and fun!

Klaus is one of favorite characters. He is deliciously bad,am I right? Oh and Klaus/Caroline was extremely intriguing. I realize it could never be a real thing but it humanized Klaus a little for me. I am interested to see how long Klaus will be in different body and what will happen when he is removed from said bosy and where he will go.

I have heard that Bonnie doesn't have any consequences from her friends because of what she did but that there are some witchy consequences. We shall see.

Rebekah really grew on me. No matter bad she behaved I could see the pain underneath and that deep down she was a sad and betrayed little girl.

The interaction of all of the Originals was interesting because they behaved like actual siblings with teasing and ribbing and they seemed to truly care for one another. Even the mother who tried to kill them obviously loved them all, not matter how terrible they have been.

The Sage and Finn storyline was just presh.  Kol was obnoxious in a really darling kind of way. And Elijah will always be my favorite original.

The storyline with Alaric was great and sad all at the same time. I don’t know about the rest of you but I didn’t see it coming. (Good luck to Matt Davis on hos new show Cult, he will be missed.)

Here are the things I didn’t love…

Michael. I felt like the thing with the Original father was a little anticlimactic. I was hoping he would be a little more of a thorn in the preverbial backside of Klaus and our Mystic falls folks.

Matt, what is his purpose? To annoy me to death because it’s working. He isn’t interesting. He isn’t even all that cute. He is a weakness because he has absolutely no ability to take care of himself. And that whole thing in the end where he and Elena nearly died…totally his fault. I will not blame Damon whatsoever if he attempts to put Matt out of all of our miseries….I am over Matt…

Now, I am really confused about the whole Elena tunring thing. Don’t get me wrong, I knew turning would happen eventually, especially considering the fact that in season 2 Elena specifically said she didn’t want to to be a vamp. But this is just season 3 and I was thinking (hoping?) that we would have more time before the turning because franklu I am not really sure how much father the show can go once Elena has turned. I mean, so much of the show has been about Elena and her protection. Let’s face it Elena is interesting because she is a dopleganger. Now that she is a vamp she is no longer a dopleganger she is a fledgling vampire and only interesrting to the people who love her. I am interested to see where this going to go now.

Overall, I liked season 3 and I am looking forward to next season. Here is hoping to some  Damon adn Elena love because that is my thing. I may not like Elena that much but I adore Damon and want him to get what he wants (though I am not opposed to some Damon and Rebekah love, just sayin).  I am also hoping for some Jeremy and Bonnie because the only time I dont want to scream at Bonnie is when she is with Jeremy and who misses Katherine because I know I do…The Vampire Diaries premiers October 11 2012 on the CW.
